Motorcaravanning
It is not easy to combine dogs and happy holidays. Especially not when the dogs are in majority in the travelling band ! We have now (as many other dogowners/dogshow entusiasts) aquired a motor caravan. After a long search we finally decended on the "Frankia" model as this seemed to have the ultimate practical solution for the dogs, and also suited driver/handyman Ray and co-pilote/chef Mona. The secret is the big garage that can convert into one or two bunk beds. Now the dogs occupy the lower bunk in their cage whitch can be opened both from outside and inside the car. It also has a window so the dogs can look outside. Generally we refer to it as the Commodore Suite.

Here they are in place with the "garage-door" open. This is the way we load them if they are wet or dirty. They also like lying like this high up looking at the world go by.
-
Here you can see the cabin window at the far left. Practical in the summer when we can leave it open with the dogs safe inside their cage if we want to leave them on their own for a while.
-
Sometimes it can be more wildlife outside the van than Pegi can handle !
-
On sunny days the dogs will always eat "al fresco"

Pegi sunbathing from the cabin

Here are alle the girls in the Commodore Suite seen from innside the van. The shower is to the right and here we have their drinking bowl and they can splash as much as they like.
-
Comodore Suited is nice but the captain's seat is best !
-
Cosy indoor evenings with the dogs on the sofa and mum and dad watching TV from their recliners, just like home !

Clean dogs with begging almond-shaped eyes gets to join mum on the sofa.
